SHAW William Abercrombie :: BRUCE Robert Michael
In affectionate remembrance of their comrades, William Abercrombie SHAW, and Robert Michael BRUCE who died while on active service during the Kafir war of 1878, WA SHAW was accidentally shot while "way laying" in the fierce Bush, and died at 12:30 AM on Sunday, 17th of March 1878, at the age of 29 years and 1 Month. R.M. BRUCE died of typhoid fever, in the hospital at Kingwilliamstown, two hours later at 2:30 AM aged 29 years and 5 months." Them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him."
