Cemetery information:- The tiny village of Balfour, at the foot of the Katberg, 32 32 S, 26 41 E. Established as a station of the Glasgow Missionary Society in 1828 by John Ross and McDiarmid and named after Robert BALFOUR, first Secretary of the society (ref P RAPER's Dictionary of South African Place Names).
