ERASMUS Jacoba Johanna nee PRINSLOO -1912
Michiel Coenraad ERASMUS married Jacoba Johanna RONSLOO in 1903 and they had five children by the time she died.
She was my paternal grandmother and died of toxaemia at the age of 27 years, 8 months and 17 days. According to her funeral letter she suffered a long and painful death (9 days) as a result of chronic post-partum toxaemia - after the birth of her 5th child Wynand - that died 7 months earlier. She eventually died on Saturday 12th of December 1912.
