ERASMUS Hendrik Johannes 1853-1931
Hendrik Johannes Erasmus (g2) was born on 12.03.1853 at Boekenhoutskloof. He married Elizabeth Agatha Joubert (affectionately known as Bettie), and fathered 5 children, 4 girls and a boy. The youngest daughter, Catharina Johanna, died at the age of 11 years. She is buried in grave No.5 in the same cemetery. Hendrik died 24.05.1931 from a heart attack while walking on the farm.
