Mikhail Sergeyevitch (Michael Sergius) Sviridov (1894-1970), an engineer and an owner of a major consulting engineering company Stewart, Sviridov & Oliver (presently, Stewart Scott International). He was also the first chairman of the Society of Russian Emigres in South Africa. His wife Nadezhda Vladimirovna (Nadejda Vladimir) Sviridov, nee Platonoff (1908-1992) is buried in the same grave.
