This Square, right in the heart (centre) of Durban is surrounded by the Durban City Hall in the East side, the Main Post Office (now not in use as such and originally the 1st Durban City Hall) on the North side, various office blocks on the West Side and the famous Royal Hotel and some other office blocks on the South side.
