05. Memorial - HMS NATAL - Dec 1915

This Memorial/Monument is within the confines of the Old Fort Military Camp, Kingsmead, Durban. It commemorates about 400 men, women and officers who drowned when the HMS Natal sank after an explosion in the engine room while moored in the Cromarty Firth,  North East Highlands of Scotland, United Kingdom on Thursday 30 December 1915. Size of monument approx: 2130 mm high x 360 mm wide. It was erected in 1927.
