Cemetery information:- The grave of Rachel, his wife, is situated at a Boksburg cemetery, but which cemetery is not specified in the memorandum. A memorial plaque for Francois J. LOMBARD can also be seen at the Burgher Monument, Platrand, Kliprivier district at this link: http://www.eggsa.org/library/main.php?g2_itemId=643698&g2_page=2 See more at this link: http://www.battlefieldsroute.co.za/place/pieters-boer-graves/ It seems as if 19 boers were buried here, and later reinterred at Platrand.
