Cemetery information:-
Lidgetton was the railway Station between Dargle and Caversham, 14 km north-west of Howick on the route to Estcourt. Named after John LIDGETT whose immigration scheme brought 140 to this to the area in the 1850s. (Source: New Dictionary of South African place names by Peter E RAPER)
