BRUIN Wilhelmina P.T., de nee VORSTER 1880-1901

Wilhelmina Paulina Thenisina DE BRUIN -1901. She died 15 days after arrival in the camp, already ill from malaria and peritonitis (pneumonia).

Parents: Commandant Barend Jacobus "Swart Barend" VORSTER & Alida Susanna Margaretha.

Husband: Hendrik Jeremiah DE BRUIN, owner of the farm "Kalkbank", Rhenosterpoort in the Zoutpansberg.

Wilhelmina's son, Hendrik Jeremiah (Jr) was 2 - 2 1/2 years old when they entered the camp. After his mother's death he was left in the care of Mrs Katrina Susanna HOFMEYR, Wilhelmina's sister, of the farm "Goedgedacht", Rhenosterpoort. Hendrik died in camp on 17 September 1901 due to chronic diarrhoea.
