Farmstead now Kookfontein, no very old buildings but a horse mill in very good condition. The remains of a large stone barn are just below the house. 1819 owned by Elizabeth Bok (Christiaans g.daugh.) and niece of Johaan Harmse Steenkamp. Elizabeth Bok married Isak Albertus Nieuwoudt and their daughter, Jannetie Sophia married Theunis Nicolaas Kotze, son of Theunis Kotze of Kliprivier. Nicolaas's 2nd wife Johanna Margaretha Aletta Mostert g-d of Nicolaas Mostert of Bokkefontein. From the history above there must be an older burial ground. To the east, towards one of the passes down off the mountain is the ruins of an older house that I was not able to examine.
