This single vault is high up against the slopes of Tygerberg, just below the nature reserve. On the corner of Meyboom and Vlamboom Crescent. There is no name on the vault - only a date. According to Fransen, p 313, the remains of Gustav Christoffel GREFFRATH are buried here. He was the owner of the Plattekloof farm in 1843. About 50m from the vault, inside the nature reserve, we found a small cemetery with about 6-8 graves. Although we could not get access to the site; none of the graves that we could see had any names on. Ref: Fransen, Hans. 2004.
