Son of Johan Anton and Mary Hagglund, of Kynsna, Cape Province. His brother also died in service. Commemorated on their parents headstone in CAPE TOWN (MAITLAND) CEMETERY HAGGLUND Theodore, Lance Corporal, South African Infantry 4th Regt., died 22-Oct-1917. Died of wounds, DOZINGHEM MILITARY CEMETERY, Poperinge, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium. Son of Johan Anton and Mary Hagglund, of Kynsna, Cape Province. His brother also died in service.
