The Naval part of the cemetery is well looked after. Although we tried to take photos of all the headstones, certain areas in the cemetery were overgrown and we were not sure if we accessed all the headstones.

05. Monument for men who died in H.M.S. BIRKENHEAD
In proud memory of those who died in the wreck of H.M. Steamer BIRKENHEAD on 25 February 1852. The remains of some of them, originally buried at unmarked sites near Danger Point, were uncovered and have been reinterred here.
