Prof. Vernon Siegfried FORBES.  Born Cape Town, Rondebosch 9 December 1905 – Died Fish Hoek, Cape Town 18 November 1993 Elenor Lois FORBES nee ARNOLD born Tulse Hill London 5 August 1907  died Fish Hoek Cape Town 19 December 1988. Attached is a photo I took December 2011 of  a memorial plaque on the Fish Hoek beach Jagger/Cat walk of  a friend of mine’s parents. It used to be situated on the bench under the Sunny Cove railway stop at the very end of the Jagger walk. It has been stolen and is no longer there. (Olga Birch)
