BASSI Dino 1938-1961
A note from his family in Italy:
He was my father’s brother and left post war Italy only aged 19 to work with British Railways in Rodesia, he never had a chance to come back before he died, and, even more distressing for the family, no member of the family was able to attend to the funeral or visit the grave in all these years. Recently I made up my mind to go to Livingstone and see for myself if one could still find his resting place ...now I know that I can visit him.
His complete name was Bassi Dino.
